Does Photographs help delay the news?
So, a good question that I just kind of noticed in the field that I freelance in. Do photographs help delay the news? The answer is yes... sorry that was my opinion. You have to understand during the year, there is always a seasonal photograph - for example, fall foliage. Since we haven't had any snow right now - this is the best example that I came up with. It does give people the chance to see the interesting point of view of different trees that are showing their personality during the fall. When using them in the newspaper it does take up space or if you are trying to delay the news that is when you use features of fall foliage comes in handy. Now if we do have a winter, there is kids sledding down the hill, or frozen falls, and etc. Trust me, I'm crossing my fingers for some winter photographs. It does through the point of view off in the picture when you do not have any snow in the picture.
